I am an educator and a family person. I believe that learning is beyond theories and concepts so come and join me in this collective effort of touching hearts and transforming lives. I would like the world to be aware of the thoughts of my students for each one of us has a voice and a story to be heard. With the advent of technology, the world and the echoes of our voices are limitless and without bounds so let us do our share in positively creating a change and impacting the world.
A family for me is more than just the basic structure in a society composing of a father, a mother, and the children. For me, it is a sanctuary of values revolving around love. It is the first circle we grow up with where we learn the basics of dealing with life. A family is a group related by blood but though our social interactions in our daily lives, we learn to consider our significant ones like friends as family, too: those closest to our hearts, knitted by the gift of love.

Even though there are some imperfections in the family, it is still the most valuable blessing that we have in our lives. They serve us an inspiration and reason why we still strive despite of all the trials. Our family is our number one fan that will always support us in everything we want and accept who we really are. Even in your most darkest day, your family is the only one who will stay. Because for me, the members of your family are the only people who will understand you the best.

For me, Family is considered to be an individual's comfort zone. They are the ones who will encourage you when you feel so down, they will make you feel so special when you feel so unworthy and for that, a family will surely uplift, support and be with you all the way. At times, when experiencing some misunderstandings or conflicts within the family, I did not take it as a negative stance hence, I believe that those not-so-good experiences will help us establish a stronger and better relationship in our family. I also believe that family is a fundamental factor which molds an individual's attitudes, values and beliefs; It is a place where an individual learns how he will be interacting with other people together with those acquired influences he got from his family.

Family for me is God’s greatest blessing. They give me the sense of love and belongingness and accept me for who I am. In family even though we grow in different directions, our roots remain as one. They help me build myself to conquer circumstances, solve problems and attain my goals. They teach me good values and to share it with others. They are the ones who remind me to turn on the light whenever it is dark. Family, for me, is simply my happiness.

Family is consists of people who love and care about you.People like your parents, siblings, relatives and close friends. For me, Family is more than a relative by blood. They are the people who accept you for who and what you are. People you can count on/can run to in times of difficulties and happiness. It is where you feel secure and comfortable. Family is one of the most beautiful things in the world!

When I ask other people what family is for them, I would think that it would be such an easy task for them to define the word. But when I ask myself what family is to me, when I think about it, I mean really think about it, it is very hard for me to give meaning to the word. However, I could say that family, to me, is a source of strength and a constant. Because even if the whole world would turn their backs on me, I know that they would still be there, accepting, loving, and supporting me on everything that I do. As long as I know that they are here for me, then, I am more than okay.
ReplyDeleteMy family is the greatest thing I ever had. I am so thankful to have them in my life, and I am not sure where I would be without them. We all have ups and downs, but no matter what, I know we are blessed to have each other. I am truly blessed to have such a great family who's always been there for me in failure or in success. They are my source of strength and happiness. They are the one who embrace me despite of all the flaws I have. Their support, love and care is unconditional. They never leave me hanging around especially in darkest times. They are my inspiration to work hard and to achieve my goals in life.

For me, family is the most valuable and precious treasure God has gifted me with. It is in my family that I experienced being loved and how to love; it is in my family that I came to know God and nurture faith, hope and love; It is my family that my vocation to the religious life started and flourished; It is in my family that I learned how to live life; enjoy and cope with its demands. As it is very clear that now I have left my biological family behind, one thing for sure that I would always give them is the assurance of my prayers for each of them. Although I might not be able to give and do something in return to them, I entrust them to God's Mighty Hands and let Him give and provide what is best for them.
ReplyDeleteMy definition of Family has grown bigger. Aside from my biological family, religious family, and relatives; I consider friends and those whom I called to serve as my family also; for when a person has in mind that these are the children of God/ brothers and sisters of Christ while serving and dealing with them, then that person would be more likely to give her heart and her all in serving and in caring for them. Thanks Ms. Tina and God bless po!
As the norms say, family is a basic structural group in a society that composes a father, mother and their children. But for me, a family is a group of people that embraces who you are despite your flaws. It is a relationship with other people who are committed to each other and giving unconditional love to one another whether you are related by blood or not. Family is where education of life begins. Even if you stumble from your mistakes they are always there for you to support, motivate and inspire you to live your life to the fullest.

DeleteI believe, family is something in life we can not choose. No matter what kind of family we belong to, there is a reason why we have it, and being in that family means responsibility to make that family healthy. But family isn't just about being blood related, family can be the people who claimed and accepted us no matter what. May it be during the good or even the bad time in our life family is always there. Like what Lilo (Lilo and Stitch's movie), "Ohana, means family, family, means no one gets left behind or forgotten".
ReplyDeleteA family for me has many things with endless words that defines who they are to each other and what they do for each other. It can be a bunch of people that eat the same meal or people that grew up together, i never knew what's the big deal? As for my own, a family is where your heart feels most at home because all the greatest things in life and unconditional love all resides first within a family. If love could be visualized, family would be the blue print. No matter how they came to be, each as a member share not just by blood but a bond that can never be broken, like a circle which is bound to be connected for eternity.
ReplyDeleteFor me family is our primary source of strength to go on with the struggles in life. No matter how imperfect a family member is, he/she can count that his/her family will still accept him/her with their hearts. Family provides security and the head of the family provides what the family needs. As for the love for each other I see the love of the family as eternal like the love of God for each one of us.
ReplyDeleteA family to me is a source of strenght and happiness because in everything we do in our life the family will always still there to support you and guide you through your path that you want to take in your life. And in life you will meet friends, acquiantances and some of them will just come and go. Family is still there through your good times and bad times. And the family will accepted you for who you are.
ReplyDeleteHi Chary! Nice to see your post. I am sorry if I could not help you with the blog creation, am not techno-savvy myself. Am glad that you were able to create one now and that you are part of the blog postings. God bless you and your family!
DeleteFor me a family is a source of strenght and happiness because in everything we do we depend on them. A family will support you and guide you all the way. Through your good times and bad times that you will encounter in your life. And a family will accept you for who you are. Family binds with the love of each member and as a whole.
ReplyDeleteHi Class,
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for sharing your thoughts on how you see a family. It is nice to know how your generation views how a family is defined. May God bless you and your family!
"He who has a why to live for can bear almost anyhow"
ReplyDeleteVictor frankl believe that in life there is a challenge or experience that every people will encounter. And he also encounter in the camp. Now, me always has a question why? why God gives me a dissability why me? I know that God has a planned for me. He give me this because i know that there is a purpose. In everything I do,i do not t encounter happiness, failure, but the most important thing is in every problems or situations that you encounter you must learned from them and grow and be mature as a person.
